We are required by law to collect sales tax on all orders being shipped to locations within PA. Sales tax is calculated on the merchandise and handling charge total.
We do not collect sales tax on orders shipped to other states. However, you may be responsible for paying a sales/use tax to your state and/or local taxing authority on orders shipped to you in your state.
We stand behind the quality of our products and want you to be perfectly satisfied with your purchase. If you receive an incorrect, damaged or defective order we will gladly replace your order - within 30 days of receipt. All products of directepurchase.com are guaranteed against defects in manufacturing and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from date of invoicing unless otherwise specified. Insulated glass is warranted for seal failure for a period of ten (10) years from date of invoice. This warranty is expressly limited to directepurchase.com products sold exclusively by directepurchase.com.
If there is any damage of the package, it must be noted on the delivery paperwork before the driver departs. If there is any concealed damage inside the box, it is important to immediately notify us at firstname.lastname@example.org Include your name, order number and a brief description of any damage. Keep the original packing material for possible inspection. The company will handle any claim on an individual basis.
All merchandise returned for credit, refund or exchange must be in resalable condition, authorized for return, accompanied by a receipt and may be subject to a restocking fee. Do not return merchandise without a return authorization number. Note*** If any item has had an upgrade option added, it becomes a custom order and is not refundable. No returns will be authorized on custom orders unless item is damaged or defective and will be subject to our review. Refunds will be credited to the original method of payment. (i.e. credit card).
